He teaches scientific illustration, nature journaling, and natural science through hands-on observation for children and families.
Based in San Diego, Leo leads family birdwatching activities that help beginners discover local birds and habitats.
Mr. Xiang began bird watching and participating in wildlife conservation in 2004. For more than ten years, he conducted bird surveys in the eastern coastal areas of China, especially in Shanghai and Jiangsu Province, and promoted bird and habitat protection to local governments, media, citizens, and students.
Today, his work brings together wildlife art, scientific illustration, nature education for children and families, and community birdwatching in San Diego. Through art and observation, Leo helps people build a lifelong curiosity about the natural world.
